Some of my favorite breaking news video I shot during 2016. Hopefully in a week or so I will put together a post of my favorite breaking news photos.
Around 3:40 am. a two alarm fire broke out at Orange County Fire Authority Station 61 at 8081 Western Avenue across from Knott’s Berry Farm. All the firefighters inside the station, which houses eight firefighters and one battalion chief, evacuated safely. Engine 61 was out on a call when the fire broke out and returned to the station to help fight the fire. Sixty-four firefighters sent to the scene were working to fully extinguish the flames several hours after the fire broke out. Destroyed in the fire were a 100-foot aerial ladder truck, a battalion chief’s Chevrolet SUV, a fire department pickup truck, and a swift water rescue boat.
Here are some highlights of my coverage of the Chapman University Undie Run for OC Weekly. I have been covering both Chapman’s and Cal State Fullerton’s Undie Runs for a couple years now and I will say this assignment does not suck haha. Enjoy!
